With this update, BERTHA is inland for the final time now.

Bertha is expected to dissipate inland over Texas by Friday.

If for no other reason, this was a remember to check your tropical activity plans, check your go kits, and be sure to check that your insurance coverage is up to date as we head into the 'meat' of the 2026 hurricane season.

This will be my last 'manual' update on BERTHA in this section of the page. However, this page will be left up for another day and all other information will continue to auto update.
